Year 6 Teacher Full Time

REED Education are a leading agency in the Bradford area and we are urgently recruiting for an experienced and committed teacher Year 6 teacher to join one of our primary schools in Bradford. The successful applicant will have full teaching responsibilities in a Year 6 class including planning, marking and assessment. This role will start on 20th February and will continue until the end of the academic year.

All applicants must have,

• A relevant teaching qualification and current QTS
• At least 2 years teaching experience in an UKS2 classroom
• In-depth knowledge of SATS assessments and how to support pupils in preparing for them
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to the education and well-being of young children

Responsibilities of this role include planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of all learners in the class, as well as marking and assessing pupil progress. The successful applicant will also work closely with school SLT and other teachers to support the overall development of the school.

The school itself is an Ofsted rated Good school which has been praised for its supportive school leadership team, and we are looking for a teacher who is committed to maintaining the school’s high standards.
