Year 5 Teacher required in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Your new companyHays Education are working with a local primary school in Nottinghamshire who are looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full time basis.Your new role

• Within this role, you will be working in year 5 and will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment for the children to learn.
• You will be expected to take up general teaching responsibilities including planning and prep.
• You will be working as part of a class team along with other members of staff within the school and KS2.
• You will need to build strong relationships with parents, children and staff alike and be able to hit the ground running.

What you will need to succeed

• You must have QTS and completed induction/ECT years
• You will have a passion for working with children and be approachable with a natural ability to remain calm and in control at all times.
• You must be adaptable and flexible in your teaching style.
• You will have recent and relevant experience within a primary school setting and have extensive knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• You will need to be confident managing challenging behaviour.
