Job Title: Vocational Skills TutorLocation: BournemouthSalary: £28,000 per annumWorking Hours: Monday to FridayWe are currently representing a reputable training provider who are committed to providing high-quality vocational training and skills development programmes. Located in Bournemouth, they are dedicated to empowering individuals with the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Vocational Skills Tutor to join the team. You must be willing to travel as this role covers Bournemouth, Swindon, Somerset and surrounding areas meaning a driving licence and own car would be ideal. As a Vocational Skills Tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering hands-on, practical training, helping them acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for their chosen career paths. You will work closely with learners to facilitate their learning journey, ensuring they achieve their vocational qualifications and reach their full potential. Due to the fact that the delivery schedule is driven by the learner’s location, lone working will be required.Key Responsibilities:• Deliver engaging and interactive vocational training sessions to students, following a structured curriculum tailored to their specific needs.• Provide one-on-one support to students, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement, and developing personalised learning plans.• Set and assess learner work product daily, ensuring feedback is provided in a timely manner and monitor their progress throughout the course against the criteria• Create schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with the qualification specifications.• To provide accurate and timely feedback to learners, and maintain assessment records, including tracking and reporting of learner progress in line with the organisation’s policy• Complete qualification administration to required standards for awarding body and verified by IQA/EQA• Engaging with quality management processes to ensure that teaching maintains Outstanding OFSTED standardsQualifications and Requirements:• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.• A1 Assessing or equivalent assessing qualification• Prior experience in delivering vocational qualifications such as Customer Service, Business Administration etc.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Patience and empathy when working with diverse groups of learners.• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.• An understanding of and commitment to promoting equality and diversity.If you are passionate about vocational education and have the skills and experience to make a difference in the lives of students, we encourage you to apply for the Vocational Skills Tutor position.This position is being managed by Pertemps Work Based Learning.
