Are you seeking a new and exciting opportunity for April 2023 in a modern, successful and expanding school?

Tradewind is currently recruiting for a confident unqualified Teacher to teach already planned lessons to children in Key Stage 3 – 4 in a very popular Wirral 11-16 secondary school. This full-time role will run until the end of the academic year with the potential for the role to continue into the new academic year as well.

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will ensure that the pupils engage with their work, manage behaviour and assist with any questions asked. There is no “active teaching/learning” taking place, there will be work set and left by the teacher.

For this role we are looking for:

• An experienced teacher/instructor who has worked with Secondary-aged school children or;
• A recent graduate looking to start their career in education or;
• An experienced Drama/Dance/Sports Coach
• A confident individual who is flexible, friendly and approachable
• Someone who is confident supervising a classroom

To be considered, you will need:

• Experience supporting children / young adults on either a paid or voluntary basis
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references
• Legal right to work in the UK
