A successful recruitment agency are looking to hire a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join an expanding team. Based in spacious offices in Brentford Identify your role will be to secure job opportunities for job seekers within primary, secondary and special needs schools and attract candidates and identify and secure jobs in schools on a temporary and permanent basis.

Job Role:

Candidates:

• Consistently source candidates within your assigned patch, which includes Teachers,
• Teaching Assistants, SEN support staff and admin staff
• Identify and attract candidates using all methods, including job boards, referrals, social media and word of mouth
• Negotiate pay rates with candidate
• Carry out welcome calls with candidates once they are interviewed by the Resourcing Consultants, assessing their skills, strengths and attributes. Also to update job preferences, preferred locations and reassuring them that you will find them a job
• Build ongoing positive relationships with candidates
• Monitor responses/applications received from candidates and make sure that the candidate’s applications are processed efficiently
• Place suitable candidates into schools to meet client requirements in order to achieve revenue in line with personal and corporate goals
• Carrying out regular contact calls with candidates who are working for you, as well as candidates who are not yet working for you, to help build a positive working relationship
• Help coach and support candidates through the job finding process including preparing them for interviews and trial days

Clients:

• Source vacancies from clients by delivering successful marketing campaigns and by making sales calls to schools
• Shortlist and present suitably qualified and experienced applicants against defined job vacancies
• Organise interviews and trials for candidates in schools
• Conduct client visits (face to face and via zoom) to ensure a high level of service and ensure growth of your desk
• Manage and develop client relationships and build rapport
• Negotiate charge rates and fees with clients
• Successfully place suitable candidates in schools
• Use a consultative approach towards contacts within schools and becoming an expert in the field of education
• Ensure client contact email addresses are constantly and proactively updated
• Understand and meet KPI’s (Key performance Indicators)
• Ensure all necessary administration and aftercare services are concluded with candidates and clients

Hours:

7am to 4.30pm, and 8am to 5.30pm on an alternating basis through the week. The hours are shorter during school holidays and will be 9am to 5pm

Salary:

£21k rising to £24k after successfully passing 3 month probation period
