TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED URGENTLY

START DATE: IMMEDIATE START

LOCATION: Birmingham

DAYS AND TIMES – MON- FRI: 08.30 – 15.30

LENGTH OF CONTRACT – IMMEDIATE TILL JULY 2023 MINIMUM

PAY: £80 DAILY RATE

MUST BE ABLE WORK MONDAY TO FRIDAY 08:30 :15:30, NONE NEGOTIABLE

REED Education is working in collaboration with a Primary School based in Birmingham, that is looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join them immediatelyThe teaching assistant role is a rewarding job that provides a wealth of experience, to both the child and the adult. A Teaching Assistant provides support within the classroom by either supporting teaching and learning within the classroom or by working with students in small groups.Some of the day-to-day duties will include assisting with lesson plans, supporting children across the curriculum, providing extra assistance to children with special needs. A “good” teaching assistant will be someone has who good communication skills and can communicate clearly to teachers and students, can show compassion and sensitivity towards children and has a good understanding of the national curriculum.To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will; Have a level 2 or Level 3 or an equivalent qualification Have experience of supporting teaching and learning within the classroom Have an in sight of supporting children with special educational needs Seek to make learning enjoyable for keen, inquisitive minds Be able to support EAL students Be able to make a positive impact in and around the school setting Form positive relationships with parents and guardians Have a thorough understanding of the school safeguarding regulations Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £38 for a new check.
