Accelerate Teaching is excited to announce a job opening for a Teacher of English at a leading Secondary School in Bradford. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and qualified teacher to join this thriving school community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English to students in KS3 and KS4, focusing on the development of their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Create an engaging and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters their intellectual curiosity.
• Assess student progress regularly, provide timely feedback, and work with students to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and improve overall student outcomes.
• Take an active role in the school’s pastoral care system, supporting students’ wellbeing and contributing to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification and QTS status.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English literature.
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to contribute to the school’s wider aims and objectives.
