We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join our Secondary school, based in Bexley, on a permanent contract.
We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for their subject and a commitment to developing creative and innovative teaching approaches. You will be able to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential, and will have a deep understanding of the latest pedagogical techniques and technologies.
The successful candidate will be able to teach English across key stages 3, 4 and potentially 5. They will have a passion for Literature and a desire to foster a love of reading and writing in their students. This is an exciting time to join the team as they develop their Mastery curriculum and this post would suit an innovative and ambitious subject specialist who is keen to develop their skills and access an excellent CPD programme.
The English department is a well-resourced, key curriculum area within the Academy. They are determined that their pupils are taught by individuals who are committed to their academic progress and ensure no pupil falls behind. You will have the drive, high standards and passion to enthuse their pupils and make a real difference to their outcomes and life chances.
