Friendly school looking to add general teaching assistant to their supportive team in the Bridgwater area Your new companyHays education team in Bristol are looking to recruit a teacher for a mixed form KS1 class in the TA5 area. The school recruiting is a lovely school with an incredible staff who work closely together to provide the best care and education to the students at the school.Your new roleThe class in question is a mixed form entry class with 8 reception, 3 year one, and 9 year two students. The role requires planning and marking, with plenty of support in school from teachers and cover time allocated for you to plan. They follow the White rose mast planning system, giving you the guidelines to plan the best lessons possible. There is also 3 TA’s in the classroom with you, one of which is a 1 to 1 specialist to support the needs of any SEN students and helping to manage the class and allowing you to focus on teaching. The school in question are looking for a team player and someone with a calm demeanour to help manage the children as they have updated their behaviour policy and shouting at the children is not acceptable. The team you will be working with is a very close-knit and friendly team who are looking for someone to fit in and have a sense of humour as you will be working very closely with them. What you’ll need to succeedFor your application to be successful we require you to have experience working in a school setting within the last 5 years. You will also need to hold Qualified Teachers Status, an updated DBS form and safeguarding certificate completed within the last 12 months.
