TA for Immediate start in Birkenhead – Long term Your new companyHays Education Wirral are working closely with a 1 form elementary school in Birkenhead to recruit for an Early Years teaching assistant for a long term role with immediate start.Your new roleYou will be supporting the class teacher deliver the EY curriculum. The school’s last ofsted was in 2022 where it was described as a “very good school. There is clear emphasis on achievement and on helping pupils to develop personally as well as academically and all adults work towards these common goals.”What you’ll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role as a Teaching Assistant you will need the following:

• Level 2 TA qualification
• Previous experience in the last two years working in a primary school
• At least 6 months experience working with children
• Some knowledge or experience of providing 1:1 support
• Understanding of Autism and the EYFS curriculum
