Hanson Recruitment is working with a reputable SEN school in South-West. We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who share our and schools’ mission of empowering SEN pupils to lead lives full of choice and opportunity. Hence we are currently looking for special needs teachers with passion for teaching SEN. The SEN Teacher roles can be part-time or full-time and may become long-term for some SEN teachers after an initial period of successful outcomes for pupils. Ideal SEN teachers will be someone who has a keen interest in teaching Primary/Secondary aged pupils with additional needs and puts emphasis on project based and experiential learning. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teachers from all different backgrounds, experiences and even qualifications who has genuine passion for SEN. Being flexible and innovative in their approach to teaching, communicating are key to supply teaching. Someone ideally with proven track record of making a difference to pupils and school/s they worked with in terms of the quality of learning and relationships they created. A team player who can think on their feet, but also take guidance and be really on the same journey as the rest of the staff. Empathy and understanding are key when you are supply teaching in SEN schools. Pay Rate: £125 – £160 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). These roles are temporary to start with and you can work according to your availability any amount of days between Monday to Friday during school hours.
