We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our local schools in Croydon and Sutton as a Primary School Sports Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and organising sports activities for students in Early years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

To be a successful Primary School Sports Coach you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as patience and empathy. You should also have a strong understanding of the subject matter you will be assisting with, as well as experience working with children. In addition, a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is typically required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate sports activities for primary school students
• Encourage participation and sportsmanship among all students
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students
• Attend and assist with school sports events, tournaments, and other activities as required
• Communicate with teachers and other staff members to ensure smooth operation of sports programs
• Manage equipment and supplies for sports activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Previous experience coaching sports at the primary school level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
