Senior Education Adviser, Behaviour Hubs Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Job type: Permanent, Full timeLocation: Reading with some flexibility for hybrid or remote working. We are recruiting for a Senior Education Adviser to provide technical expertise to the Department for Education’s Behaviour Hubs programme and oversee school coaching, quality assurance, programme improvement and the promotion of the programme across various stakeholder groups. The role will effectively work across internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.Behaviour Hubs is a one-year programme for schools and a two-year programme for MATs, more information can be found here The programme is fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and provides schools with support, training, coaching and advice aimed at improving behaviour culture and generating sustainable, cultural change which is tailored to each individual school.The programme partners schools with a Lead School who has an exemplary track record in behaviour culture to provide senior leaders with bespoke support. There is also a stream for MATs who will be partnered in a similar way with a Lead MAT. The programme will run until December 2024.To join the team, you will be a qualified teacher and have experience working on large scale national initiatives. You will have excellent credentials in the design, delivery and evaluation/quality assurance of professional and/or whole school improvement programmes for teachers and school leaders. You will also have strong stakeholder management skills and experience coaching school leaders.We are particularly interested in the following areas of expertise:Awareness of different approaches to behaviour and associated current researchVery strong stakeholder managementLine management and matrix managementCoaching and supporting school leadersDeveloping CPD materialsExperience working on large scale national initiativesThe majority of our work will be supporting the effective delivery of the programme, so you will have the credibility, humility, coaching and communication skills to support experienced school leaders in a wide range of contexts. You will be joining a broader education team who work across a range of programmes supporting teachers and practitioners to improve, from school culture and behaviour to communication in pre-school settings.
