Operam Education are working with a Unique Specialist Independent Day School to find a Teaching Assistant. The TAs are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things. There s lots of ups and downs, and to some of our young people, sitting through a lesson can be a big win. As a TA, you ll be working directly with children between the ages of 6 and 16 with Special Educational Needs including ADHD, Autism and PDA along with Communication and Social and Emotional difficulties. You will have the opportunity to support their learning, assist with their social development and help prepare them to be able to contribute to their communities. The school has a Therapeutic approach where the team around the child aims to allow each child to have a sense of belonging and a greater understanding of the world around them.
