As a SEND Support Assistant, you will:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse SEND needs.
• Assisting classroom teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Offering emotional support and encouragement to students.
• Collaborating with the school’s multidisciplinary team, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

As an SEND Support Assistant, you should possess:

• A genuine passion for working with children with SEND.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
• A willingness to learn and engage in continuous professional development.
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the field of SEND education (desirable but not essential).
