The education we provide is tailor-made for each child, based on their needs, interests and ambitions. The SENCo role at TCW is a unique, challenging and highly rewarding role, with many differences to working in a more traditional setting – so we are looking for someone with an open mind as to what the role requires who is excited to work with us to achieve the best for our students. You will oversee the special educational needs of all the students across our school, ensuring that all needs are met to the best of our ability and that the students all have effective and productive annual reviews, documented to the highest standard. As TCW is a remote school, this role requires good communication skills to allow teachers to consult with the SENCo through various means enabling good practice and knowledge to be imparted to key members of staff who work directly with the students. The providing of tailored advice is a big part of this role as you will be the first port of call for most SEND queries from staff, parents, referrers and students.
