SEN Teaching Assistant-Darwen
Attention all experienced SEND Teaching Assistants! We are currently recruiting for a full-time position at a primary school in Darwen. This exciting opportunity involves working in a specialised SEND class with approximately 16 children with a variety of needs.
As an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the class teacher and two other experienced TAs to provide support and assistance to children with special educational needs. You will be responsible for helping to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each child in the class.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with special educational needs and will be experienced in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans. You will have a deep understanding of the needs of children with special educational needs and will be committed to providing them with the best possible support and guidance.
This role is a full-time position, working five days a week. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible, and the position will continue until July, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. Daily pay rates £80-90 depending on experience.
