SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: SE11Pay: £75 – £85
Are you someone who can provide high quality standard teaching? Are you able to attend to the emotional, behaviour, behavioural and learning needs of students with special needs? If so, consider applying for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant.
As an SEN teaching assistant, you are responsible for providing high quality care and learning to all students. You must take into consideration that each pupil has different needs. This includes delivering engaging lessons, assessing, and keeping track of student’s progression and providing feedback to class teacher to help improve the learning of students.
Duties:• To help plan and organise learning activities for students• To work with individuals and 1:1 with students in class who have additional needs• To ensure the physical welfare of students and assist students in their physical needs• General class SEN TA roles•
To be successful you must have:• Bachelor’s degree (education related desirable)• Experience teaching students with various learning needs• Enhanced DBS Check• Passion for working in an inclusive learning environment• To liaise with staff and relevant professionals
