Our client is a fantastic SEN school that are currently seeking a graduate to fill their SEN Teaching Assistant role. This is role is for April for long-term roles and daily supply. This long-term Teaching Assistant position is perfect for a Psychology graduate or any experienced EBD worker looking to develop their career in Clinical or Educational Psychology. The school prides themselves in being a community to help support their children in order for them to reach their highest potential. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for taking care of children that have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) so it is imperative that their mental health is taken care of. The role can be challenging so being resilient and taking lead are some of the core values the school are looking for. This is also a great opportunity to work 1:1 with these children and gain valuable experience for graduates to help kick-start their career!
Experience in a SEN setting or children that have EBD is of course a bonus but equally someone with a hardworking demeanour and a passion to make a change in these children’s lives will be perfect for this role! A positive, confident person with a ‘can do’ attitude is what it takes to do this role. As well as someone that is up for a challenge will do extremely well. All Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants will have the full support of the SENCO and any specialised outreach workers.
