SEND Learning Support Your new company A specialist provision in Manchester is looking for support workers to work within school hours to provide extra support to the students that are currently attending the school. The students are currently out of mainstream schooling for a variety of different social, emotional and mental health needs, and require extra staff to guide behaviour and learning within the school. Your new role Within this role, you will provide support within the school environment for students who may be in crisis or displaying difficult behaviour. You will work alongside other members of staff to create a positive learning environment for students and teachers. What you’ll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have experience working in a support role and be confident with challenging behaviour. Having experience working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs is preferred.
