Job description Are you a recent graduate with a strong interest in Special Education? Are you seeking for a new position where you can work with students who have significant learning disabilities? GSL Education are searching for a few dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to work at few of our fantastic primary client schools in REDRUTH, starting from January 2023. The schools are searching for someone to work in their SEN area, assisting students with SEMH issues. This would involve 1 to 1 support and having a driving license to be able to drive a student to different locations. The successful candidates will: Have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure. The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members. Assist students in their learning both on a 1-1 and group basis.
