Location: Grimsby

Contract Type: Full Time/Long Term

Pay Scale: 130-200 per day (depending upon experience)

Commutable Areas: Grimsby, Louth, Hull, Cleethorpes.

Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated French teacher to join our team at our partnered secondary school. As a French teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the French language and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging French lessons to students of various proficiency levels.
• Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and enthusiasm for the French language.
• Incorporate relevant cultural activities and resources to enhance students’ understanding and appreciation of French culture.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Stay updated with current trends and methodologies in language teaching and integrate them into the classroom.

Qualifications:

• QTS Degree or Equivalent Degree
• Fluent proficiency in French and English.
• Previous experience teaching French to students of different age groups and proficiency levels.
• Strong knowledge of French grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
