SECONDARY MATHS TEACHER – JANUARY START

The Bexley education supply service supplies whole school recruitment to schools within the Bexley borough as the preferred supplier service for all schools within the Bexley Borough, having held the contract with the council for the last 3 years

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maths teacher to join a big well resourced secondary school in the borough of Bexley

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching math to KS3 AND 4 students. The ideal candidate will have strong subject matter expertise in math and a passion for helping students succeed.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location: Sidcup, Bexley

Role: Maths Teacher – Secondary

Contract: January start- Interviews being held immediately

Salary: £150 – 200+ P/d

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and deliver engaging math lessons that help students understand and apply math concepts
• Grade assignments and exams and provide feedback to students
• Support and encourage struggling students to help them improve their math skills
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay up to date with current math education research and best practices
• Collaborate with other teachers and support extracurricular math activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math or a PGCE WITH QTS
• Strong math subject matter expertise
• Experience teaching math at a secondary school level
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
