Secondary – Maths Teacher Full Time

Reed Education is seeking an experienced Maths teacher to join a alternative provision based in Banbury who provide education to KS3/KS4. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have been disengaged from mainstream education and have a strong understanding of the curriculum.

This is a temporary contract starting immediately and on-going until the end of the schools year. For the right candidate there is potential for a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will be:

• Responsible for creating engaging and differentiated lesson plans, assessing student progress and providing support to students who are struggling with the material.
• Expected to work closely with other members of the staff to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status is not necessary, but experience in teaching Maths is a must. Experience working within a similar setting or with children with SEMH needs would be advantageous.
