Reed Education are currently hiring for school Located within Stockbridge’s Local Educational Authority this large Secondary is looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join them for the new academic year.

The role is available for 5 Days a week for full-time, part time and on Day-to-Day basis.

Position Overview:

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering effective lesson plans, engaging students in classroom discussions, and providing constructive feedback on their progress. You will have the opportunity to work with students of various proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced, and inspire them to develop their English language skills through innovative teaching methods.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive English lessons that cater to the individual needs of students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching resources and methodologies to enhance students’ language acquisition and fluency.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and engagement.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address their individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum enhancements.
• Stay updated with current trends and developments in language teaching and integrate them into the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• QTS is mandatory.
• Proven experience teaching English to students of various proficiency levels.
• Strong knowledge of English language principles, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Familiarity with using technology in the classroom.
• Organizational and time management skills.
