Position Overview:

As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity in the learning process when regular classroom teachers are unavailable. You will step in as a temporary substitute and provide instruction and support to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans and educational materials as provided by the absent teacher.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a seamless transition for both students and teachers.
• Provide feedback on students’ progress and any notable issues to the regular classroom teacher.
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (Teaching certification preferred but not required).

• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Flexibility to work on short notice.
