A wonderful all through SEN school in the lovely London borough of Harrow is looking to appoint a KS3 Science Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Science Teacher to join their welcoming and supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2023.

The school provides excellent levels of personalised education for young people with mild to moderate special educational needs (SEN), such as: Autism (ASC / ASD), ADHD, Down Syndrome and MLD. As a KS3 Science Teacher, you will be part of a team that has an unwavering belief in the potential of every pupil. This post would suit a passionate, dynamic, and adaptable KS3 Science Teacher who ideally has experience teaching Science within a SEN environment.

• Outer London MPS1 £32,407 – UPS3 £48,055 +SEN Allowance up to £4,703

Person Specification – Science Teacher

• Must hold UK QTS – Essential Requirement
• Strong academic background including degree, A levels & GCSEs.
• Good subject knowledge of National Curriculum Science
• Applications welcomed from experienced Science Teachers or Science ECTs
• Pro-active approach
• Able to deliver creative and engaging Science lessons.
• Able to demonstrate good levels of behaviour management qualities.
• Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations / performance management reviews.
• Advocate for your subject
