A secondary school that aims to provide a high-quality education for all students, regardless of their background or ability. We are looking for a science teacher who can join our team of dedicated and passionate educators, and who can teach science across all key stages, from Year 7 to Year 11.

As a science teacher you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering lessons that are aligned with the national curriculum and the school’s vision and values.
• Assessing and monitoring the progress and attainment of students, and providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm for science.
• Working collaboratively with other teachers and staff to share best practices and resources, and to contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
• Participating in professional development opportunities and keeping up to date with current research and pedagogy in science education.

To be eligible for this position, you will need to have:

• A relevant degree in science or a related subject, and a qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience of teaching science at secondary level, preferably across all key stages.
• A strong knowledge of the science curriculum and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to the school’s ethos and values, and a willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and events.
