The NASUWT is the leading trade union representing exclusively the interests of teachers and school leaders throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar.

We have an opportunity for a Regional Official to cover maternity leave for up to 8 months, to join the Eastern Team. Working with lay officers and staff colleagues, you will manage a substantial caseload across a large region, providing individual support and representation to teachers and school leaders.

This is a demanding role, in which you will deal with the complete range of employee relations issues, whilst actively promoting the Union’s organising strategy. The role requires tenacity, objectivity, a good understanding of employment law and the ability to advocate successfully.
