Title: Progress Coach

Location: North Yorkshire

Pay: £17 Per Hour

Duration: Full-Time, Temporary Until End of Academic Year

Reed – Further Education are seeking progress Progress Coaches to work in a FE college in North Yorkshire to provide support to learners, and provide personal development sessions, both 1:1 and group.

What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of a Progress Coach?

• To plan and deliver effective sessions on a range of topics such as LGBTQ+
• Sessions will cover employability skills, CV writing, job searches, Fundamental British Values and Mental Health and Wellbeing.
• Will liaise with the teachers and head of departments for students needs and requirements
• To help with career advice, job searching and career meetings such as UCAS applications
• To set and review SMART targets.

What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?

• Experience within FE, teaching, or education
• Experience with teaching or supporting students
• Experience of delivery workshops, lessons, or sessions to individuals. Ideally within employability or personal development.
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their optimum
• Exceptional verbal /written communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience of utilising a range of teaching practices to enhance learner journey and progression
• Exceptional verbal /written communication and interpersonal skills
