THE SCHOOL

We are working with a one form entry Primary school in Oxford (OX4) The Headteacher is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support students on a 1:1 basis and small groups. This is a permanent role employed directly by the school.

THE ROLE

As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the students’ educational journey. Your responsibilities will include the following :

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require extra help. Help manage classroom activities and maintain a productive learning environment. Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development. Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt teaching materials as necessary. January 2024 Start £15,845 -£16,134 Actual Salary Located in Oxford – OX4

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with Sen needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy and patience.
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
Relevant qualifications or training are a plus.
You must be ambitious, hardworking, committed and be academically talented
