We are currently seeking for Primary Teachers who would like to work at an Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ for Early years provision school located in Ripon, North Yorkshire starting as soon as possibleThe School:

Primary Teacher Requirements:

• Primary teaching experience, with at least 12 months of classroom teaching experience (placements can be counted).
• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with valid teaching qualification (such as B.Ed. or B.A) with a PGCE. Teachers having ECT/NQT status are also welcome to apply.
• Passionate about teaching and in command of techniques to keep students engrossed.
• The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
• The ability to direct a team of Support Assistants and work as part of a wider team across school if need be.
• Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behaviour management, lesson-planning, patience and empathy.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment where all pupils are encouraged to learn, progress, and have aspirations for the future.
• Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans to help students meet educational objectives.
• Manage student behavior, implement discipline when necessary, and promote a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Assess students’ progress and performance through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of their students.
• Provide extra support to struggling students and extend challenges to those who excel.
• Regularly communicate with parents or guardians to discuss students’ progress, share information about school activities, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
