We require a strong and enthusiastic Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a long term basis. School Details: The schools within these areas are considerably different, covering several social and economic demographics and Ofsted grading. Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Job Role: As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant you will be expected to ensure children are supported and feel ready to learn, creating a comfortable environment. Candidate Requirements for Primary SEN Teaching Assistant: To be selected to work as a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant should have classroom based experience. This could be TA, LSA, Support Assistant, Teacher etc. Resilience and patience are crucial as well as the ability to quickly learn and understand school procedures such as behaviour and safeguarding. Candidates will need to have presence in the classroom and the ability to demonstrate authority whilst remaining calm and approachable.
