This vacancy is for a school located in Medway and is due to commence in September 20223.As a Positive Behaviour Mentor/Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour, fostering a supportive learning environment, and providing invaluable assistance to students. Your passion for education and dedication to making a difference will be the driving force behind our students’ success.Responsibilities:- Support students on an individual or small group basis, providing guidance and encouragement.- Help students overcome barriers to learning and develop their social and emotional skills.- Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and create a safe and inclusive environment.- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop personalized learning plans.- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to students and teachers.Qualifications and Experience:- A genuine passion for working with students and making a positive impact.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.- Experience working with students in an educational or mentoring capacity.- Relevant qualifications or training in positive behaviour support are desirable but not essential.Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
