Payroll Officer Full Time

Are you an immediate Payroll Officer? A leading client in Chelmsford are looking for someone for a 14 month FTC. You will work alongside a HR department. There are flexible working hours and hybrid/remote working. The roleYou would be responsible for all payroll calculations and reporting. You would ensure administration is completed and regulations and compliance are kept to. You would also support the team to make sure payments are made and provide excellent service on all queries.To be successful you must:

• Be an expert Excel user
• Have a relevant degree or part qualified professional qualification or appropriate level of experience
• Have working knowledge and experience with pension administration/ schemes – including Teachers’ Pension, Local Government Pension, NHS or NEST
• Be a team player
• Have a great work ethic
• You will have had exposure to payroll- including PAYE, RTI and other payroll related functions
