Job Title: Outdoor Education Lead Commencing: After Half Term Location: Knypersley Stoke Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract potentially permanent for the right person We are currently working with a wonderful school based in Knypersley who are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic and motivating Outdoor Education Lead to join their team. The school is made up of students aged 5-11, where they offer a large and balanced curriculum to their pupils, to ensure that all potential can be excelled. Their aim is to make sure that all students feel valued, heard and understood whilst in their educational journey. The school encourage interactions with their peers, making sure that a secure anti discriminatory and family environment is practised, whilst offering reintegration to a mainstream setting. We inspire all interested teachers to apply whether you have previous experience/ qualifications or not as full training, and support will be given. At Simply Education we have our EDM training team that will provide tailored cpd and webinar training to support our teachers with the daily challenges educational professionals face. The ideal Outdoor Education Lead will have the following attributes: – An Outdoor Educational Qualification – To lead lessons such as paddling, walking, climbing and cycling – To build strong, long-lasting relationships with young people – Have a full UK Driving License and be able to drive a small minibus to activities (Desirable) – The ability to read body language and moods – Ability to think proactively and adapt the lessons where needed to keep pupils engaged – A passionate and positive approach to learning – Capability to promote the development of positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills All candidates who register with Simply Education will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed.
