REED Education is currently working with a Primary School based in Moseley, Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Primary School Tutor to join with then as soon as possible. The School based in Birmingham is looking for qualified and experienced Teachers to assist with tutoring across all year groups.

The National Tutoring Programme provides Schools with funding to spend on targeted academic support, in particular any gaps in knowledge that have been created by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

The school situated in Birmingham, sits at the heart of it’s diverse community, the school’s reputation is built upon the excellent examination results but also the well disciplined and friendly school environment. The school’s aim is simple; to enrich the lives of their students. Students are encouraged to have a sense of personal responsibility towards themselves and enable students to reach their potential by developing their skills, talents and abilities.

The school are looking to appoint an experienced Teacher, to work with small groups of students, for face to face tutoring. The successful candidates will be working with students across the key stages to backfill gaps in knowledge and ensure all students are working to the level according to their academic ability. The successful candidates will engage and excite students in learning, being skilled practitioners, they will be able to use innovative teaching methods to engage students and will play the role of positive role models on the lives of young influential minds.

To be considered for one of these roles the successful candidates must;

• Have QTS
• Must have extensive proven experience of their subjects
• Have experience of teaching KS1 and KS2
• Be able to prepare students for national examinations
• Have experience of working with EAL students and SEN students
• Be able to set clear boundaries and set high expectations
• Be someone who can use their own initiative
• Have proven track record of strong classroom management
• Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to oat £38 for a new check to be done.
