Job Description:

We are working alongside an Outstanding school in West Bromwich seeking a talented Math Teacher to join their team to start as soon as possible. This Math Teacher role is initially up until Christmas with the possibility to go permanent for the right candidate. This is a full-time position that involves teaching primarily in Key Stage 3-4, with possibilities to teach some Key Stage 5 if you wish

Responsibilities for this Math Teacher role:

• Curriculum Planning: Develop engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Classroom Instruction: Deliver high-quality math instruction to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for mathematics.
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to support individual learning goals.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, while effectively managing behavior and promoting mutual respect.
• Differentiated Instruction: Tailor your teaching approach to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental planning, and engage in professional development.
• Parent and Stakeholder Communication: Foster open and proactive communication with parents, guardians, and relevant stakeholders to support student success.

Qualifications/Skills for this Math Teacher role

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
• A passion for teaching and a deep understanding of mathematics.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 3-4
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
