Level 3 Teaching Assistant Job in Hailsham both full and part time. Your new companyHays are working with local schools in the area to recruit Level 3 Teaching Assistants for part time and full-time roles. These are temporary and day to day roles. Your new roleYour role will be to work as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, focusing on supporting the classroom teacher and the class children in every aspect. You will be responsible for working with children on a 1-1 basis as well as in small groups, supporting them with any weaknesses they have or anything they need assistance with. You will also work with the class teacher to ensure that the class as a whole runs smoothly, helping any children that need it as well as preparing materials for classes. What you’ll need to succeedYou will need to be able to work both in 1:1 environments as well as with small groups and within classrooms. You will need to hold the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification in order to be considered for this role and have previous relevant experience. You will be expecting to help support and manage challenging behaviour within the classroom along with other additional needs. A patient and caring nature will be ideal for you to be able to deal with the pressures of this challenging yet rewarding position.
