We are currently working with a fantastic and inspiring school in Hanley, which is tailored to help and develop pupils with special educational needs, who are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. They have a more personal and tailored approach to make sure that pupils feel as comfortable as possible in their learning environment; by referring to teachers by their first name and pupils not having to wear a uniform and encouraging students to express themselves by their hair colour, piercings and much more. The ideal Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have the following attributes: – Relevant Qualification – To build strong, long-lasting relationships with young people – Can communicate effectively and efficiently with young pupils – To be resilient and patient in their approach – Delivering effective curriculums that fit the needs of the students you are working with and the ability to adapt learning plans for individuals where necessary – The ability to read body language and moods – Ability to be flexible and adaptable for the needs within the school – To assist with child development plans – Able to promote and encourage independence where possible – Capability to promote the development of positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills All candidates who register with Simply Education will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed.
