An exciting opportunity has arisen at Fleetwood Nautical Campus to join our team as a marine engineering lecturer, and really make a difference in developing the next generation of seafarers.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic seafarer wishing to progress their career ashore, having followed a UK cadet training programme and with experience at sea as a marine engineer in an EOOW position.
As a dual professional you’ll be supported as an academic whilst also retaining currency across the maritime industry; with teacher training and back into industry days. Plus you’ll engage with CPD and staff development each year.
FNC is partnered with IMarEST and now offer a level 6 BSc (Hons) degree top-up, validated by Lancaster University, who were recently awarded the international university of the year.
