A fulfilling and exciting role as a learning support assistant in an esteemed primary school in Trowbridge with excellent transport links and on-site parking has become available. As a learning support assistant you will promote and develop the learning and social skills of children with additional needs. The learning support assistant role will involve you working from individual one-to-one support to that of learning and activities in a guided small group.
The learning support assistant role requires a person who is empathetic, has the ability to build meaningful and effective relationships with children and is able to adapt their approach to the specific needs of different children. As a learning support assistant you will work closely with teachers, educational psychologists and other professionals to ensure the implementation of personalised educational plans are accurate; adapt and create support materials that ensure the child is able to prosper in a mainstream classroom environment and to engage and stimulate the learning of the classroom.
