Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant – Derby

Hays are working in partnership with a ‘Good’ Secondary school in Derby who are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants (multiple positions available).

This is a Full Time role working 8:45am – 3.10pm Monday – Friday. This is a Long Term role initially up until July 2023 but with a strong possibility of becoming Permanent.As an LSA, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Teacher to assist with teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. You will provide general classroom support as well as 1:1 and small group support to specific students where necessary. For this role, you will need recent and relevant work experience of working within a school setting and ideally have experience of working with Secondary aged students. Special Educational Needs experience would also be an advantageWhat you will get in return
