This can make it hard for them to express their emotions and to have them acknowledged.However, children with an EHCP for their Autism and ADHD can often develop a social connection through improvised Art and Music making. Art and Music therapy can be used to create meaningful connections with those who are often isolated and frustrated. The levels of learning will extend across EYS, KS1 and KS2 – there will be different levels of independence, none of the children will live on their own or have those levels of independence, the children will live with their families, residential care and be cared for, by the state for the duration of their life, in some cases.As well as Music Therapy, if you have personal aspirations within OT, Clinical Psychology, Education Psychology and Child Development, this is a good base and LSA role in which to start with. This SEN LSA role brings out holistic, therapeutic, and restorative qualities and skills, all important aspects of a future role as a Qualified Therapist. To gain access to the Music MA you desire, it is crucial to have 9-12 months of paid experience under your belt, you need to be able to qualify and disqualify these areas for yourself.This role is all about giving the children as much joy, stimuli, and recognition as possible, each child’s learning ability will dictate the approach and levels of objectives!
