In partnership with a specialist school, we are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the school starting as soon as possible.

This is a temporary position initially, but an excellent ‘foot-in-the-door’ opportunity, where you could gain a permanent role within the school further down the line.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8.30am until 3.45pm term-time only.

Salary:£80 – 100 a day (DOE)

The role of a Teaching Assistant is to support the teacher in the students’ learning and development, and for this you will be enthusiastic, energetic, motivating and patient. Your role will include working in cooperation with the class teacher and other staff to ensure the successful running of the day-to-day life for student. This may be working in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis for a more personalised approach to learning – tailoring activities the students specific learning needs.

About you:

• Previous experience working in an educational setting
• Teaching Assistant qualifications (preferred)
• Previous support/care work background
• Ability to nurture and motivate children
• Passion to work with children
