Job Title: KS4 Lead of PE MPS/UPS + TLR 2a Salary: £28000-£46702 Location: Luton, Bedfordshire We are seeking a passionate and driven KS4 Lead of PE to join our dynamic team at an improving Academy. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading and developing the KS4 PE curriculum, promoting a culture of high expectations and fostering a love of physical education amongst our students. Responsibilities: Develop and lead the KS4 PE curriculum, ensuring it is engaging, challenging and meets the needs of all learners Work collaboratively with the wider school community to promote physical education and sports participation Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all students achieve their full potential Actively participate in school events, including sports days and extracurricular activities Provide regular updates to parents and colleagues on student progress and the development of the PE curriculum Work collaboratively with the school’s leadership team to develop and implement school-wide policies and initiatives Requirements: Qualified teacher status Relevant experience teaching KS4 PE Demonstrable leadership and management skills A passion for promoting physical education and sports participation amongst students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to ongoing professional development In return, we offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, opportunities for professional development, and a competitive salary package, including a TLR 2a
