This role in KS1 will likely be in a Year 2 Class and is due to start in September, ECT’s are welcome to apply and there is some flexibility with the Year Group for early applicants.

The successful candidate will be working with a school in Basildon. This school is forward thinking and offers great support to its Teachers and Support Staff. We believe in working with schools that have a nurturing nature with their pupils and are strong believers in forming little personalities and supporting emotional wellbeing. We are looking for people who share the view that only by working in a team oriented and positive environment can children really achieve.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering diverse and engaging lessons to pupils from a range of backgrounds and abilities
• Using Resources effectively and having a consistent level of wanting to improve the quality of teaching for all pupils
• Monitoring and supporting the progress of each student
• Providing additional support to individual pupils who are considered vulnerable or who have additional SEND needs and utilising the support available given by colleagues
• Allotted PPA and relief time will be granted throughout the week
