HR Administrator – Nottingham
Reed Education is supporting a large secondary school based in Nottingham who are looking to appoint a HR Administrator to begin immediately.The school based in the heart of Nottingham, cares deeply for the education, safety and the personal development of all it’s students. The community that the school serves is blessed with rich diversity of languages, cultures and faiths.The successful candidate, working in collaboration with the School Business Manager will provide the delivery of a proactive effective and efficient day to day HR service for the Headteacher and for partner schools. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a school or a local authority setting.Some of the day to day duties will include; management of staff attendance including cover for absences, co-ordination of the school’s leave of absence scheme, management of all the recruitment process and ensuring completion of the school workforce census, termly.The successful candidate will have• Experience of working in HR, preferably in a school environment• Possess strong knowledge of HR best practice, processes and employment law.• Be able to demonstrate expertise of employee relations and HR processes including recruitment training, induction, employment contracts etc.• CIPD qualification is desirable.• Have strong communication and inter-personal skills and be able to influence, motivate and negotiate with other stakeholders.• Be confident, flexible and a strong team player• Good ICT skills and strong administrative and organisational skills• Understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion• Calm and professional under pressure• Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service, or be willing to pay for a new check to be done.This school is committed safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.If you are looking for a new role and fit the criteria above, then please send an updated CV to me at your earliest convenience.
