How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four ?
Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance. We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).
If the trial is a success, we’ll be rolling the 4DWW out across the Group – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join !
We’re on a mission to give our colleagues an amazing work/life balance – because everybody deserves an amazing future
Oakfield House School are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking for HLTA’s to join their close-knit team in Salwick.
About our school
Oakfield House School is an outstanding primary school for autistic pupils and those with social, emotional and mental health needs. Our school is a country house built in the 1880’s, set in eight acres of beautiful parkland.
We cater for 42 boys and girls aged between 4 – 12 years old and we have been judged as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.
Our pupils have a range of educational needs including social, emotional, and mental health difficulties which have made it hard for them to cope with mainstream primary schooling. We also provide a unique provision for autistic pupis and those with complex needs in a purpose-built facility attached to the school called The Willows.
Our pupils are divided into six small classes located in our main school building, The Willows and The Pod. We view each pupil as a true individual with their own strengths, aspirations, interests and areas that they need to personally develop.
About the role
Our HLTA’s will be responsible, under the direction of the teacher or school leaders to teach specialist parts of the curriculum to individual pupils, small groups or whole classes. To support access to learning for pupils and to provide general support to the teacher or school leaders with regard to the management of pupils in and out of the learning environment.
