KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Position Available

Join our team at Tradewind Recruitment as a highly motivated and experienced HLTA. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to provide support in Key Stage 1/2 classrooms, assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to deliver the curriculum effectively.
• Lead small group interventions to address specific learning needs.
• Provide personalised one-to-one support to pupils.
• Step in to cover classes when the teacher is absent.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages and aids student learning.

Requirements:

• Possess a Level 3 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Demonstrate prior experience working in primary school settings.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Display a positive and proactive attitude towards work.
• Showcase the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for education and helping children reach their potential.
• Hold a valid DBS or be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
• Provide a comprehensive CV that includes employment and education history, with clear explanations for any employment breaks.
• Possess the legal right to work in the UK.
